    mpc 2800 colour reg

I thought my days of looking at colour reg problems was over with all the new MPC type copiers but we have a new mpc2800 with only a few k on the clock and the colour reg keeps going out.
If you run sp2111-03 then sp2111-001 it will start working only to go out over the next few days the id sen are all clean anyone come across this thanks

I would check the following :

    SP3-012-001-010 Process Control Result
    SP3-325-001-010 Vsg Adjustment Result
    SP2-194-010-012 Line Positioning Adjustment Result

Maybe one of these SP's show an error. I haven't expirienced problems with registration with these models.

I can't say that we had major color reg issues with the old and new MPC generation so far. How much is it out of reg?

Are there any SC codes listed in the logging data history? Did anyone tried to alter the interval for process controll and music within the SP mode? You can print out the Non-Default SMC page to check this without the need to check all settings.

I haven't had any problems with them either, but as with the old machine check the ITB for wrinkles or marks

Unfortunately the only time I've seen this it required replacing the black PCU. Only had 20k on it, also, but it instantly resolved it. Also, I've had a ton of paper dust from crappy paper infiltrate the speed sensor located at the front right of the ITB unit. That was on a machine well over the ITB lifespan, however.
