    Ricoh A 1515MF black zone

    Hi all,
After 30K copies I have bad quality (grounding) copy with 1cm black line in leading edge back side of paper. Always just first copy! After replacing drum unit with new one the copy was excellent. After 200 copies I have the same problem ( bad quality copy-grounding, with black line in the back )
I check the copier after turn on and saw that on the drum is a lot of toner between inicialization and transfer roler picket toner up from the drum. Becouse of this, the surface of tr. roler is full of toner and in first copy it cleans on the back side of paper.
Any idea what kind of problem is this????? If I put new drum unit the copy is ok again but I'm not shure is this works, I would not risk another drum unit.

    Thanks

Check your machines firmware, there was a bulletin out for firmware on that problem, you will also have that problem if you use none OEM toner, so make sure of that to.
    What? HuH?

Check your drum ground as well.
