Hi, guys and gals. I purchased a pcmcia card controller and downloaded an evaluation version of MCE for xp. I have everything configured and was ready to write some 2045 bin firmware to the card when I discovered the 2045 firmware I had was a corrupt download with no firmware included. God bless anyone that can supply me with B079/B082 firmware. Seems like nothing's ever easy. Thanks.

The 2045 firmware didn't load to the PCMCIA card because it doesn't use one to install.
This machine works like all the newer ones, where you can install via an SD card or the WIM. You'll note that they are separate versions when you download them from Ricoh.
It sounds like you've got lots of leads to get the firmware already, so I'll refrain from that.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment

Sorry, my bad. Please accept my apologies.
It's just that the TSC site had it listed under "SD Card", without any obvious mention of the need for the PCMCIA card. Even when you click the button, it's not easy to tell.
Were you able to get a good copy of the firmware? If not, I'm sure we can get you hooked up.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment
