Ricoh 1224c Dark background scans only (not copies)

Hi guys,
I have a Ricoh 1224c thats giving me a dark backround when scanning to scanrouter, copies are ok, prints are ok, I am going to try a scanner app reset, but have you guys had this before?

Scanner reset looks like the right thing to do. I always had to do a scanner reset when i installed scanrouter in combination with 1022/1027 machines. The first scan was always white. After the reset it was OK.
