    Pro 1357ex paper jams

    Hello all

A quick question regarding the Pro1357ex. I was wondering if there was an alternative feed rollers for this machine? I've been having troubles with intermitent jams in tray 1 '03'. I have cleaned the unit and changed the feed rollers, but it still happens. Strangely, it seems to feed coloured paper from this tray with no troubles......
This machine has just under 1mil on the clock and has had all the PM parts replaced.
I'm leaning towards the paper being at fault, but as you know, it's a difficult one to convince the customer on.....

    Try the torque limiter.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Yep, the feed rollers were done around the 900k mark. Couldn't find anything on the torque limiter in the manual, but I have had them fail on other machines. I'll order one up and stick it in if it pops up again.

The 850 rollers work good in this model for weird paper. Try AF03 0040, 1040, 2040 for the main trays and AF03 0041, 1041, 2041 for the LCT.
