    Ricoh SP4100N Reset cartridge

I've just worked on a SP4100N printer, and there is a mesage in the display: reset cartridge. The customer has tried many times with different cartridges too.
I can't find anything wrong with the machine - just by looking at it...
    Any tips here?
The machine works when I insert the old cartridge and just disable the "toner empty" function... When I insert a new one, reset cartridge appears in the display again.

I've just ordered a new machine I can give to the customer - in case I have to send it back to Ricoh.

It has only printed about 5100 pages, and the cartridge that came with the new printer is empty (almost). I've never had this problem before. We have several of these machines that's been printing close to a million pages so far, so the machine seems to be very good

I think it's got the wrong cartridge in it. The SP 4100 takes EDP402813, the AP410 takes the DT51TBLK cartridge. Can't find the EDP code for that one. They do fit in each other and will both give "Reset Toner" messages.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.
