MPC2050 and @Remote: How to warn on toner near-end

First of all, let me remind you guys that I'm mostly a Konica Minolta person and I'm still relatively fresh on these Ricoh machines.

So we've got an MPC2050 connected to the @Remote server but neither us (via @Remote) nor the customer (via copier panel) get warned about the fact that the toner is almost empty. The customer only notices it when the machine stops and refuses to print again until we add toner.

How should I go about enabling this warning system, both via @Remote and the operation panel? I took a look at the SP list, but it's all very confusing!

    Thanks and cheers!

Yeah, this is something that should happen by default. So follow the advice that "spaceman99" gave and check those SP's. Also, check and see if the MFP is showing up on your @Remote Center.

If it's not listed, or shows as "Offline", then you have some other issues. Such as the IP of the MFP has changed since it was installed or was never registered properly to begin with (this would be one that would cause the MFP to show as offline). So I would start with logging (or getting someone that knows the log in to log in for you) into your offices @Remote Center and checking the status of the machine. If it shows as online and you can communicate with it, then I would go check the SP's Spaceman99 mentioned.

      Best of luck!

As an fix to take the pressure off you add a administrator email into the copier and it will email the user when the toner is low then when it reaches toner end you will also need to check the settings for @remote on the copierbut i thought toner mesage was a default
