    SMB Scanning - Windows Firewall Port

    Hi guys,

    in order for the smb to scan thru. i need to disable the windows firewall, anyone out can share what is the "UDP PORT NUMBER" so that i can add under exception for this smb scan.

    Appreciate your help.

    UDP ports: 137, 138
    TCP port: 139

      Have you tried the 'File and Printer Sharing' exception?

        To find out the port it is using, you try a scan then check the firewall log straight after.
