    Problem on fusing unit MPC 2800

    I have a problem with the lamp melting of MPC 2800. This is my third machine in 1 month.
    The dual lamp is hs. Someone knows this problem?

    Reference lamp
    AX440275 213V 460/640W.

      Would you believe there is an actual firmware update to fix this issue? We had a bulletin recently & it was a firmware update required, it must somehow reduce the stress on the lamp....

              Not really - ricoh does currently recommend to lower the auto-off timer value. The final fix is an improved lamp.

                  I read on the site that would be a problem of gas in the lamp and that Ricoh would try to make another. Is anyone aware? Ricoh should know this.
