    Ricoh and Equitrac

I have an account that has just added about 50 Equitracs, the one where they swipe the card and then make copies. They work fine for copying but they want to use them to keep track of printing now.
When I try and add printing under user tools>admin tools>external key management, it won't print out anything. It just won't release the job. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi There,

Are you refering to the Pagecounter devices? If you are I assume you already have either equitrac express or office already installed on the customer network?

    Thanks
    James

Yes, its the page count device. Equitrac PC-100 page counter. The have the express software running. The cable is only 4 pins(does that matter?) I really don't know much about these.
Right now they are setup as SP5113:3 prepaid card and under user tools>admin tools>key counter management, enabled copy. I have no idea which to select in SP mode or in user tools, but it works fine for copying. Does not work for printing, and help would be appreciated!

The control of the PC100 should be done using the Equitrac Express software you have installed for printing and copy restrictions.

You do not need to alter anything on the sp modes of the copiers but you must before we go any further what version of Express do you have installed? You will need to ensure you have enough licences in Equitrac Express to cover the PC-100's?

You can check this in the Equitrac System Manager.
