What would cause the wrench light to appear on your display for the paper trays? It started out in the last tray and has since moved up to all trays except the bypass tray. Does anyone know what can cause this? Any help appreciated, thank you.

incorectly loaded paper, bent tray guides and paper behind the cassette and the motors are old, whats codes you getting?

look at the motors

Likely a bad lift motor, You can pull a tray out and listen to hear if its was raised up. Also you can remove an upper tray to watch the tray below.

The problem was a blown 4 amp fuse on the power source PCB. The problem started in the lower deck (last pf drawer(wasn't explained well)). My question would now be is this a short in the lift motor in lower deck??? Customer said the copier had a burning smell.

This model originally have 2 paper tray and a option paper bank of 2 tray also, with one are you mention a last pf drawer. if you mention is from the option paper bank,its should be the pcb board at back of paper bank cause the burning smell.good luck

I had that happen and when I took the rear cover off the paper bank the wires were chewed through and it was full of chewed up paper. No rodent was found but it was pretty obvious what happened
