I replaced all three color PCU's as directed in manual due to the Replace Color PCU alert showing on the screen. After turning the machine back on and letting it calibrate the alert is still flashing on the screen. Any suggestions on how to get this to clear this alert? Is there a way to reset the PCU counter?
Replace Color PCU alert remains on Ricoh CL7200

I have also run into this and noticed something... If you look on the front of the drum units, you will see small white plastic protrusions sticking out of the covers on the drums. Those should be seated against the cover. These little buggers tell the machine that new drums were installed, when pushed back against the cover. When the drums turn, for the first time, it will release the white piece and allow it to protrude out and ground a small plate in the arm that is lowered down to secure the drums and dev units.
Anyway, all you have to do is release the arm to gain access to the drum units and press that white plastic piece back into the drum unit. You might have to play around with it a little, but it will stick back in there. Once all three are secured, button everything up and turn the printer back on.sigpic

Those acuators will screw back in (counter clockwise). Just screw them back in until the top of the threads are flush with the surface of plate. To far and they fall in. You may have to remove the actuator assembly to do this as the gear on the inside end of the actuator will hit the drive gear and not go flush.Comment
