sd card auth fails - mp9001

hi guys, have you guys encountered b4 the error msg on the machine, SD CARD AUTH HAS FAILS.

pls advise how u guys resolved this issue. i had update the firmware of the machine already.

Updating the firmware has always fixed it for me. Did you update all the firmware ? You need to update everything.

Hi, Have you got a Vm card in the machine ? If yes, it is the incorrect type, Machine will diplay the Sd Card Error. ~ If card slots are empty then i agree with Msager. Update all teh firwares has always fixed it.

Yep you are right I have had the wrong VM card do this too. Mostly the wrong firmware though. I keep getting people calling be saying updating the firmware didn't fix it but then I find out they only did the system or something.

I had that error message with a printer scanner card for a Ricoh wide format. Tried firmware but ended up replacing the sd card. Careful when looking up the part number. It is in the back of the parts guide not in the diagram you may think. If you order the one in the diagram it is blank!
