mpc 2500 squeaking in the morning

machine works perfectly fine in the morning it just squeaks first thing in the morning.the machine has only done about 60k and im thinkin it might be the drum. ive had a look at the rtb and its pointing towards the black drum unit and the transfer cleaning unit. has anyone had this problem before?

Is it only first thing in the morning? have you heard it? And there is a test command for ageing (sharp phrase to copy without paper) somewhere in the manual - some squeeks i've found dont squeek in ouput mode but will when you copy

Going back to it - i havent had squeeks except the doc feeder sep roller.

I've had two things squeak on an Athena early in the morning, one's the fuser, the other is the inverter motor in the duplex unit. Strip and lube all the fuser bearings, take out the inverter motor, lube the drive gear with thermal grease. That should sort out your problem.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

ive not heard it myself. its not the doc feeder evanthough its quite common for the df to squeak on these. ive tried duplex and asnt squeaked. theres an RTB on this noise about the black drum and the cleaning unit.
