    Lanier LD127 PCU

We have an old LD127 copier in the office and need to replace the PCU, its printing a vertical line.

After I replace the PCU I suspect that I should reset the PCU counter. If so, does anyone have the specific direction and code for this?

If you replace it with a new type 1027 it will do it itself, there's a little switch in the back that's triggered by the new PCU.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

On the back end of the PCU, there is a small gear attached to a flag, that interupts a photocell. When you first put in the pcu, the flag interrupts, but as the drum cycles, it moves it away, and it runs out of teeth, so it does not continue to turn. All you need to do, is move it back, so the flag interrupts again. Once you turn it on, it will reset, and move away again.
