Anybody got any ideas on this. The machine jams in the vertical transport from tray 3.I've done the clutches and the door brackets as per the bulletin as well as the pick up and transport clutch in the cassette bank. It's a low volume machine with 5 jams a week.
MPC 2550 jam code 11

One thing to look for (at least for trays 1 & 2) is if the Paper Size settings in User Tools have been set manually instead of "Auto Paper Size Detection". The sensors for detecting paper size can be pushed out of position so that the size isn't detected properly.
Then, either a Tech or End User notices the size being displayed and sets the paper size manually through the User Tools. The size is then displayed correctly, but accordingly to Ricoh, the sophisticated paper lift height/pressure system will be using the data (paper size) it determines from the paper size sensors rather than the User Tool setting and will cause intermittent feed misfeeds depending on the amount of paper in the tray.
We definitely have seen this in the field, but I'm not sure if this would apply to Trays 3 or 4.Come on Fulham! -

I have had to replace the paper feed sensors on a particular paper feed unit on this model. It was giving me intermittant misfeeds, and the sensor replacement was the fix.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment
