Heard a lot of complaints about this style of cleaning blades made in China. Part no. is the same AD04-1140 but the country of origin is now China instead Japan. I don't think the main motor failed so soon but if is made in the same place with the cleaning blade it is very possible.Comment

I have had it caused by a torn transfer belt. Caused by a drum pick off pawl falling onto the transfer belt after a paper jam under the drum unit.Comment

I saw one 1075 at a solictor's with 2.7 million on the clock, still with it's original transfer belt. Most I see have at least 1.5 million on the clock before they need replacing. Changing the blade every 600k or so makes them last a LOT longer.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
