Maybe default paper tray for printing is set to no duplex in User Tools, System Preference, Paper Tray Priority for Printer

RPCS driver comes with duplex enabled. PCL5 & 6 require you to enable that function in the default properties.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Is the duplex unit installed in the accessories tab of the driver?

Is the output tray set to the inner tray? Duplex will not work if the output tray is set to the one bin trays (on the left side).
