funny thing copier will jam right of the bat when you select color paper jamm is at ardf entrance..feeds fine if you select black.also will not feed 8x11 through bypass but 8x14 goes through fine.so one problem is jamming at ardf when color mode selected.second is jam w/8x11 paper in bypass 8x14 is ok. 8x11long end feed is ok 11x17 jams

I'm not sure about the adf jam problem, but the bypass is probably because you have the bypass size/orientation set for lef and you're feeding sef. Press the # key when you have paper in the bypass tray to set the correct size and/or orientation.

The above suggestion of using # is correct; if you have tried that and verify the settings are matching the input on the bypass you need to check the firmware versions on the machine. In reference to the adf jam it could also be related to firmware issues. In addition you will need to perform further troubleshooting on the adf by goind into the service mode and perform input checks on the adf sensors but as you mentioned it only jams when switching to color mode, so I will look at the firmware levels.
