MP 4000 Jams

I have two Mp 4000/5000's in my territory. Both having problems with jams when faxes come in. Faxes are routed to the internal tray of bridge unit. Paper never makes it through the interchange. Intermittent problem. No foreign object in the way. Having 2 different machines in two different customer location, some one must have seen this on this model.

If it is catching on the junction gate, I have had success increasing spring tension on the gate so it actuates faster.
