    Print files on usb key

    Hello,

    I work on photocopiers NASHUATEC.
I want to know how to print the contents of a USB key, without a computer.
I was that other brands are system, part I USB key on a box on the copier I see files and I can print them.

    How so?

    Thank you

It would totally depend on the machines specifications/capabilities.

For example, I work on Sharp machines. The MX color machines will print only JPEG files from the USB key by default. If the Postscript option is installed on the machine, it will allow printing of JPEG & PDF files from the USB key.
Those documents generally dont require a driver to print them, as they can be done directly through the browser page as well, avoiding the driver.

Just look at the specs of your machine. It will say if its possible in either a service, user, admin or specifications manual.

Ricoh MFDs don't currently have this facility, with the exception of those installed with a Fiery System 8 Controller.

There is an option for a usb/sd card reader that attaches to the left side of the scanner.

You can print the contents of a USB key on NASHUATEC SP 1000 SF ( this is a standard ) or on NASHUATEC MP 171 SPF but this is OPTIONAL like a HDD. You must buy function.

The option for a USB/SD card reader is available for some models, but can only be used for scanning and storing files. It doesn't support print from USB.
