    scan to networked hard drive disk

    Have anyone tried to scan to IP networked hard drive disk with Ricoh copier which has the function capable to scan to folder.
    said: networked hard drive's IP : 192.168.1.99
    how to set that up so it can do the job. thanks.

    I haven't tried it, but it should be just about the same as scanning to a PC one would think.
    Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

      You should be able to browse the network where that HHD is right from the copier. This would be the easiest way. You kind of see everything on the network before you setup. Then create a folder within the contents of the HDD that you see from the copier.

        If your machine supports SMB-scanning, just make an entry in the adress book, and fill in the path to the drive (\\ip-adress-HDD\shared-folder).

          Do it all the Time with A Western Digital Network Harddrive. Sweet thing about it. That drive has a PUBLIC Folder which requires no username or password. I also created passworded folders for employees only. So yeah it works.
