    Hi
This is quite an old problem, I have attached a bulletin relating to it, you'll have to do everything on it or the faualt will keep coming back.

    Hope this helps

The angled waste returned pipe at the front of the machine where the two black gears are get very dirty in the bushing at the bottom. To over come this i changed both gear and coil in the lower part of the drum, cleaned the bushing and pipe.
It never came back in after that.

      Good Luck

Change the brown bushing at the bottom of the clear pipe. If this is worn the shaft will wobble and the gears will wear.

Also make sure the washers either side of the bushing are there and fitted correctly.

Remove the gear fixed to the drum unit and the bushing behind it, clean the shaft / bushing and make sure it turns freely.

Look at the slot in top of the clear tube, is the auger coil visible? if it only just pokes into the slot, remove and stretch it to ensure the toner is ejected.

If you don't check the other parts in this area the fault may return.

I agree that the bushings do casue problems, just be careful if you are ordering new ones. I have had them sloppy out of the box and had to glue the bushing into the recycling tube. As well what you can do is force the the tube to bend a bit in the middle forcing the end to put more pressure on the drum side gear and not allowing it to jump out of place and make terrible noise. Be sure to clean out the recycle tube completely as well as the recycle auger in the drum unit itself, if it starts to back up to much it may solidify and your drum unit is toast. Good luck
