    Ricoh 1515F fax trouble recieving

Customer has phone service through there cable company.
2nd Ricoh 1515F machine I brought out to them will not recieve occasionally.
Both machines work fine in my office.
Any settings that can be changed to make it more compatible with cable phone service?

I should add, they hooked up a cheap Brother fax and of course it works fine!
