I have a problem for MP6000 its given light copies everytime,I did a force toner copy is fine but after a few days again light copies. Is the anyone have ideas about this issue.Thanks in advance.

replace dev B2969640 and Mag roller ( think you have to get the complete dev assy ) clean slit glass and poss change hopper.
don't forget to go into sp mode and set charge , id and dev up.

Check the toner hopper inside, you have to check does the toner licking or maybe don`t come out. If it`s ok you have to change the Toner Supply Rate.Comment

What is the meter reading? When was the machine last serviced? If so, was the dev set up correctly?
Check SP2223 to see if toner is reaching the TD sensor. Are the plugs at the front of the dev unit connected?
What is the reading from SP3103 (VSP / VSG)? If 5.0 the ID sensor may be dirty. Any Service Codes?
Print the SMC non default settings (6) and see if anything jumps out.
You need to check all of these before throwing parts at the machine which may not cure the problem!
