The add toner symbol stays on and locked out of simulation unless using dip switch. Tried removing excess toner from developer which appeared to be quite overtoned. Disconnected toner clutch and cycled machine 50 time to remove excess toner but so far same result. Just want to know before continuing if there is a clear-cut remedy for this problem which I understand was a problem on this series. Any help is very much appreciated. Frank

Usually disconnecting the toner add clutch will do the trick.Sounds like it is too far over toned.Time to change the developer. -
Thanks Kopyrtek. I tried that but after cycling machine about 50 times I gave up on that approach. It was suggested that I try sp96 and change value from 0 to 1 which I did and machine came out of lockout. I cleaned id sensor, drum etc and ran about 15 skyshots with 5" white lead. I then recalibrated dv(sp65) and set vsg to 4 (sp54). So far all is good . If problem recurs will change dv. Frank
