    nashuatec d 422 error code sc392

    iam getting an error sc392 on nashuatec d 422 after rebuilding the PCU whith new drum,new developer,new cleaning blade,new toner. i make sure the flag is in vertical position i even tried to enter service mode SP Mode by Press "clear mode" key then enter 107 then press and hold down "clear/stop" key. problem is when i press"clear mode" key then enter 10 i fail to put 3 digits so i can not enter sp mode. i replace new control pannel.but i fail to put 3 digits.i would really appreciate if someone can help

      Check the gears in the developer section and also the gears that drive the drum. They wear out and will give the symptoms you describe. This is why it is recommended to replace the whole pcu not rebuild it.
      For accessing Service mode, it is normal not to hear the 3rd digit. But I dont know why you cant enter.

          That is an OLD machine.....AF220 Ricoh. after you do get into SP mode, what are the values that the machine is getting for Vsg/Vsp and bias and such?

              thanks Ralph S the problem is i fail to enter sp mode when i press"clear mode" key then enter 10 i fail to put 3 digits so i can not enter sp mode. i replace control pannel.but i fail to put 3 digits 107.so i dont know the values of Vsg/Vsp and bias .i also thanks Jomama46 i Check the gears in the developer section and i also check the gears that drive the drum they are rotate.i would really appreciate if someone can help

                  As stated in another post, The display cannot show 3 digits, so, Press yellow clear modes, then enter slowly 107 ( you will not see the "7"), then hold down the stop/cancel button for about 3-5 seconds.

                      2. i Use the keypad to enter .107.. but it only display 10
                      3. then i Hold down Clear/Stop for at least 5 seconds(Orange Key). and i get nothing only the error code display. i would really appreciate if someone can help

                          more than likely the id harness has brocken at the rear hinge of the transfer door it breaks inside the connector or i have seen the connector that gose through the frame at the rear to be loose

                              Maybe you have a bad key, You can only enter 2 digits at a time, try clearing them with the clear stop and the clear modes to make sure the key works, also try the 7 key

                                  As far as I know this should work every time. Even after the error code.

                                      i finally enter sp mode, key 7 was problem [not working], i change contol panel. i enter sp 2-802. five times vt1.43/2.29, vsg0.05, vsp0.05, vsdp0.05 .i enter sp 2-221. id sensor error display vsg0.13v, vsp0.11v, power 254, vsg-vsp0.02v, vt1.72, also i remove rightdoor which have id sensor transifer roller and i replace it, i would really appreciate if someone can help
