    RW240 Operator Needed (Offiline)

First of all, this is the first time I have ever dealt with RW240 and Plotbase.

With that said. My client lost the CD. Anyway, I had a nice Ricoh service tech allow me to download the iso. The funny thing about this is....the folder says 64bit. I am wondering if that meant this is the files for x64 OS? Anyway, installed the Plotbase software (RW-240 Plotbase 3.7.1 SP2 Build 113) on a new hard drive (XP 32bit is the OS).

Installation seemed to work. They are able to send the files to print on Plotbase. The files says pending and never does anything. Plotbase says in the upper right hand corner RW240 Operator Needed Offline.

I have no idea what this means and sure can use some help here.

Check the cable from computer to copier and connections from where harness plugs into copier to the boards , no communication there somewhere.

Would it be that simple? I'll call and have them check that and report back. Thanks for the help!

Could it be the DR2 board? I had a heck of time finding the driver and did once I had the ISO from the dealer.

Well, we checked the connections and everything seems fine.

        Any other ideas?

There is a connector inside the controller box. (opposite end of the board connection) Reseat it. I have seen this cause that problem a few times.

RW240 problem - license not found

Help - I just installed Norton. Now I cannot run RW-240 Plotbase.
When I launch, I get a message that says the license cannot be found. When I go to 'update license' it says that I have a license for unlimited use. When I try to run it the plotter will not load or show up. I really need to get this up and running fast. Any words or wisdom will be appreciated.
ps - I uninstalled Norton but I still get the same result, so now I have reinstalled.

                RW-240w offlline

Help i am new to this, I have read a couple of threads but i still cannot find the ansewer to my problem. let me start of by the current state i am at. I purchased a Richo 240w for my wifes business, i bought the plotter and it had a cable with it. I then purchased a computer and a rw240 printer controller and downloaded all the software. That all went smooth, were i am at now is when i try to print a test page , the test print job name comes up but nothing happens. I noticed that in the right upper hand corner that it says operator needed Offline. My plotter tells me to Set Orginal and the start button is still red. In the Rw240 information screen it reads CFG Reader: fileformat dwg: not supported AUTOCAD VERISON FOUND. I checked the connections on both the plotter and computer. When i unplug from the plotter in back 3 lights come on 1 red and when i reconnect the cable 1 green light stays on, so i think this is all working. I checked for Queue docoments the printer and faxes and theres is not Queued.

                any help
