    I'm not a Ricoh tech, what is a SC570 on a Ricoh 1224?

    From the service manual:

    Fusing oil end. 500 sheets of paper has been output since oil end was detected.

      You must refill the tank via the small panel on the rear cover. Then reset the counter in the sp modes. It's in the 7000 codes. Do your customer a favor.... Upgrade this POS!

        Got to agree with TonerBum these are the biggest POS to ever make it off the Ricoh production line.
        The Aficio 3224C/3232C based on the same engine do appear to be better machines as they have worked out and fixed alot of the reliability problems.
        (but I still dislike them LOL).

            Got to agree with TonerBum these are the biggest POS to ever make it off the Ricoh production line.
            Oh they have had worse, however it is the most high tech POS they ever made.
