    hi ive got a message on a mp2000 it says,
    dest. list update failed and then it swops too
    update in scanner features and then just says ready ?? any ideas

    Machine was setup to scan to Scanrouter Software at sometime. If you don't need this you can turn it off in user tools, system settings, transfer Settings Delivery Option somewhere.

        as anyone had a mp2000 lock out scanning ive tryed all the normal stuff and it just will not scan ?????. ive tried too reset the nib card and the scanner and no joy ????

          if that is the MP2000 aka the Savin9021d that has the DDST board this model only Scans with Twain Driver. Even thought there is a Scanner button.

            its a ricoh mp2000 and it did scan too folder it just stopped working on test and now ive tried everthing i can think off too sort it, ive been in touch with ricoh's tech support and the last thing they suggested was too reset the nib card but so far no joy
            you can ping it and print too it and you can ping the pc from the copier and there are no fire walls turned on and the smb is set too on, on the copier as well
            so any ideas would be greatfully recived

              What are you scanning to? By that I mean XP, Vista, Server 2003, Server 2008, Windows 7 etc.

              It could be a bad username or password, it could be permissions not set correctly on the PC, it could be that packet signing is turned on on an SBS server etc etc.

              If you can provide some more accurate information then we'd have a fighting chance dude!
