To reduce the toner supply use SP 2-209-1. Default is 30mg/s, try incresing it to 70mg/s. Believe it or not, the higher the number the less toner is added!
Also check if the drum is worn (life is about 150k).

Check your drum ground to. A faulty ground will cause it to background too.

This is the wrong approach to this problem. Fix what is causing the problem, and you shouldn't have to adjust the toner supply.

As already mentioned, you either have a worn out drum, or bad drum ground. 'Toner filming' on the mag roller can cause this also.
Don't take that toner with me!

I totally agree with fearless on this one, you should not have to adjust toner settings, perhaps dev/drum need to be addressed.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

These are some of the known things which can cause issues with this touchy model...

Check your drum ground, the ground bearing can need replacement with every drum. Is the mag roller shiny, or black when you look at it's surface? Are your TD and ID sensor readings normal? When you replaced the drum and developer, was the charge roller cleaned or replaced? If so, was the charge roller voltage reset to default? What about development bias? Has this been changed from the factory default value? When the developer was replaced, was the inlet to the development unit covered so recycled toner from the drum unit didn't contaminate it before the TD sensor was initialized? Was the ID sensor cleaned and initialized with the new drum?
Don't take that toner with me!
