Need help with Ricoh 5535 problem

I have an old ricoh that makes progressively dirty copies on long runs of 20 or more. I suspect the transfer belt but wanted some input for confirmation or redirection. Please help.

Look at the exposure lamp for dark rings around it.If it does it is time to replace. Also look at the charge roller for toner build up.

I cleaned the charge roller but didn't check the optics. I'll do that on my next visit. Do you think the transfer belt can cause that also?

Thanks a million for the help. I went back and checked the lamp and it had faint brown rings around it. I confirmed by cleaning the optics and the problem got a lot better although not gone. I'll order them a new lamp. Your help is much appreciated Tuanzwickau!

Not to forget Kopyrtek!! Quack Quack Thanks alot!
