B234 (MP9000) Coronas

So what am I doing wrong. If I restring the corona units with the stuff provided in the 500K PM kit I pretty much end up getting SC300s not to long after. If I just put the whole units in I don't have a problem.

Is anyone rebuilding these without trouble ?

We tend to replace them if this occurs, the belief is they arc out in the end blocks. They are usually good to rebuild a few times at least but replacing them every million or so is a good practice.

Same here! for the price of the end blocks, it's not worth leaving them.
