How do you reset the toner indication light on the panel when it shows empty.. machine works ok toner light comes on when needing replaced etc, just this dam panel indication. As you know most of the machines with this have a chip onthe cartridge which informs the machine that it has been replaced. ???

Are you saying, the light wont go off when you replace the toner cart? Could be a defective chip, try another cart. Or CRAM.sigpic

There's no chip on the cartridge in this machine. When enough toner is fed to the development unit the light will go out. Make sure that the toner hopper feeds toner. Other things to check : faulty TD-sensor, overtoned dv-unit.Comment
