Ok having a problem with the above copier. The paper is folding over on its self prior to reaching the drum. Happens about every 20-25 pages. The fold is about 1/4 inch thick and about 1.5 inches from the leading edge. It is perfectly straight fold down the page and paper is feeding long edge. I can take a pic tomorrow to show it exactly. The page even though folded makes it through the printer without jamming...

I did a stop test and it looks like the paper is building up just below the registation roller not sure if this is suppose to happen but I believe this is where it is folding over on its self. Looks like below.

    | Paper
    | Leading up to drum and
    | fuser
    00 - registration rollers
) - paper below rollers but after the feed rollers from tray.

Need to find out why its folding over on its self. This is a problem and I can see it lead to jamming in the future as well. Thanks in advance for any help. Did not see anything obstructing the path to cause paper to stop.

Maybe a sticky paper feed clutch is over-driving the paper out of the tray.
Don't take that toner with me!

ok, thanks I will look into that. I swapped out the rollers from the upper tray to the lower one due to the lower tray has never been used and one roller felt pretty worn on the upper tray. I do see a torque limiter in the assembly I will try to pull that out and see if its sticking. Also swap it out with the one from the lower tray. Any other ideas to look for just in case...Thanks again to all.

Sounds like the Registration Clutch to me. Take the clutch out and give it a good clean

Paper feed clutch is sticking on, seen it tons of times. use output check for the affected trays paper feed clutch to turn it on and off. You'll probably hear a click when turning it on and not when turning it back off.
