    MP4500 Nic does not recieve DHCP lease IP

    NIC does not light up when cable is pluged, no P2P with cross cable, done printer applications reset, changed printer SD Card, Changed Memories, formatted HDD.

    sp5985-001 must be set to 1 for nic card to be on

            Have you flashed the firmware? If that doesn't help, it sounds like you've covered everything except the board.

              try to upgrade the firmware?
              have you tried with cross cable?
              if not try to pull out the controller board and push it back..
              if still can't, might want to try changing the board.

                Have you tried a static IP and tried with laptop to ping it? Have you plugged laptop into customer's lan drop to see if it works?

                  If the link light doesn't come on then the NIC may well be bad on the controller. Sounds like its time to replace the board.
