    CL7300 Registration and Banding

    Hi

I have a CL7300, which is producing banding (all four colours) intermittently, it also failing the colour reg and fuser adjustments.
It has ne PCU's and Devs and also the transfer belt replaced.

The black dev motor also drives the fuser on that...maybe fuser is binding?

Check that the transfer cleaning blade is not sticking to the belt, this is usually accompaniend by a juddering noise.
Cheat the front door, run the machine and release the blade pressure with the lever on the cleaning unit to see if the problem stops.
A new blade could be required (p/no. AD042091).

Also you might have to adjust fuser speed. If the fuser speed is faster or slower than the transfer belt speed the speed shift going into the fuser can cause this condition.
