    2238 ricoh color

    how can i turn on user code for print jobs to account for print jobs from the pc,s in the office.every other feature is blocked until user code is entered .pc control is on.

    You must set print to prohibit in user tools, change each user code to allow printing and then show customer how to enter user code in print driver. The Operator Manual can be downloaded off Home | Ricoh Global for free that explains it.

      set print to inhibit in user tools .can you tell me where that setting is exactly.

          ok im confused.can you give me a step by step.i have tried all the settings and am still not able to account for print jobs or get the desktop computers to ask for user codes.could the problem be with the server and is there a driver that needs to be loaded on yhe server ?

            Install print driver on each workstation. If you need the user to be prompted for user code then you would have to modify the print driver otherwise the user would just enter their code...this is a hands on setup for me...far too many variables for me to explain step by step. Perhaps have a local Ricoh rep come out and you watch how to do first time through.
