Please can somebody tell me how to reset user name & password for web image monitor on MPc2550.
My client forget user name, password and change default user name (admin). can not configure on web image monitor. what to do?

Try logging in using the 'supervisor' account, there should be no password by default. The only function of the supervisor account is to manage the administrator accounts. You will have access to no other settings.

FYI if the supervisor password has also been changed along with the admin passwords, the only way to gain access is to replace the NVRAM. If the customer has done this, and forgotten it you could make this a chargeable call.

That is not strictly true, there are other work arounds that do not involve the replacement of the NVRAM.

I think it is worth trying because the service manual says:

5801-011 (memory clean NCS) - Initializes the system default and interface settings (IP address also), SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin, WebStatusMonitor settings, and the TELNET settings.

Another solution would be to make a upload a NVRAM a good equipment for a sd card, then do a download of data from the sd card to NVRAM bad equipment.

The only way to reset the admin password is though supervisor or factory service mode old thread
