Scraped off toner and paper dust falls into the toner collection tank [B] in the transfer belt unit. This toner
is not recycled. When the toner overflow sensor [C] detects toner overflow, the toner overflow indicator

lights. Up to 999 copies can be made before the toner overflow condition shuts down the machine. P591 service manual

clean the toner flow sensor on the transfere unit - didn't see an sp mode to reset it so clean it according to the manual if that doesnt work check it in input mode.

errr yes you can turn it off. With sp 2960 and set to 0 for no or 1 to yes but if its set to 0 remember to clean it out periodically.

Just switch the bugger off. These shitboxes don't make it that far between service calls where it will get a chance to fill it's waste tank.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

There was also a second Technical Bulletin for this problem that involves parts replacement.
