    Factory reset Ricoh Oficio 2027

    Hello

I need to factory reset a ricoh oficio 2027, so that all settings return to default. How do i manage that?

I don't have the admin password, it is unfortunately lost, that is why we have to reset the machine.

    Reg.

Log in as supervisor with no password, you'll then be able to change the administrator password. Don't flatten the engine settings if you don't have to, it'll mean you have to re-input the non-default values on the NVram.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Are you an end user? Is the machine set up as a printer?

Well, basicly this is the scenario:

I'm trying to make copies with this machine, however there is a card terminal hooked up to it that refuses me to do that unless you have the right card. I tried to disconnect the terminal whithout results. I thought that making a factory reset would make the machine forget about the terminal and allow me to make paper copies with the default settings, so that's what i'm trying to do.

You can't access the control panel of the machine, you need an admin code.
