Looks like you have a problem with yellow registration. Try SP5-993-39 (Rough Line Positioning Adjustment) for adjustments more than 1.4 mm and then SP5-993-2 (Normal Line Positioning Adjustment). If that doesn't work, replace the yellow development unit.

Both those adjustments said "Failed", however the copies improved alot, go figure! I had already replaced the yellow dv unit before with no change. Also a curious thing with this machine, at first there were dirty bands across the pages, so I blew out the cleaning unit and they went away. But after only about 50 copies made during the process of fixing this other problem, the bands came back and when I pulled the unit it is filled with toner again. Is that a sign of another problem? My experience is mainly with Canon so I'm not very familiar with this Ricoh model. Your help is really appreciated.

Replace the cleaning unit and, like CrapAimer said, clean the id-sensors

Turn off Process control SP 5993-1 and then manually adjust the registration using 5993 10-15, once the registration is done it should be good
