    AF3260

    Hi Guys

I've got a 3260 that will make copies fine and the next moment it will look like the dev in the black dev unit is overtoned and the charge roller has some how arc against the drum. The drum will then be useless. There is no psychical damage to the drum. (See attachment) The black marks is the same diameter as the charge roller.

The drum and dev were new. The dev unit is replaced about 10k ago and the charge roller is also new.
There will also be tone on top of the mylar just above the mag roller. Right there where the "arc" mark on the copy is.

If i try and do 3.820.002 i get a sc410 code. I did the instructions in the manual but it only works if i replace the drum.

Any ideas as these drums and dev is about my monthly salary

PS: sorry can not seem to get the pic attached. Will try again later

How is the cq in the testprints? have you checked to see if sp3812 is "1111" if not initialize it. check the dv units for cracks especially the separation of the dv unit to the drum and try some conductive grease on the mag rollers of the dv unit. good luck.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
