2400 manual feed only
Hello,
Which is the machine counter?
I had a similar problem on a 240W machine, the older version of yours.
After talking to a lot o people from RICOH (Holland, and even Japan without a possitive result, I decided to think a little more and I managed to solve the problem. In principle, it seems to be a problem with the cutter-motor circuit. On my machine, regardless the status (off or on), manually cutting the roll paper induces this simptom.
If you can confirm that this happened, please respond here and CALL ME on +40 788 823 494 to remind me, because I don't access my copytechnet account too often. If this happens, I will try to explain how I did. It's not a sophisticated method, but it concerns a lot of patience and attention.

2400 trouble
Hi,
The Aficio 240w would always switch off the roll feeds if a problem was detected with the Cutter unit.
In User tools, System settings there is a setting for "Use/Do not Use" Bypass.
When the cutter fails, this setting automatically changes to "Use Bypass"
Check the cutter and change back to "Do Not Use Bypass"
Hopefully, the 2400 will have the same setting but if not check that the correct configuration is set in SP Modes.Comment
