    Ricoh mp5500 jamming at B2

I have been out to a mp5500 with 1.4mill on it that jams at the guide B2 just b4 the reg roller.I have stripped the whole section out cleaned all rollers and sensors and all feed rollers the fault happends about 1 in 5 copies and from all trays. The paper then forces down the guide actvated by the gate solonoid.I have run this machine with single copies and the fault is always at this point.

Any ideas this must have had been seen B4

These models use motors instead of clutches for all paper feed sections. If all trays are jamming like you said, it's got to be the main paper feed unit (registration unit). You're probably looking at bad one way bearings, or possibly even developer material contamination of the paper feed unit if the developer unit is leaking at the rear.
Don't take that toner with me!

Worn registration mylars also cause this fault. Replace those when you're in the reg unit too.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

            Previous posters have this covered

            to confirm

Pull the Dev Unit. Check for any signs of dev leak. If found pull the 1st feed station and check for tight motor (Front end leak) and evidence of dev around the gears at the rear end of the unit, change as required.

Also, remove and check the reg unit, the bearings, motor can be contaminated.

As mentioned, the reg mylars can cause this fault, especially if the machine has an LCT fitted.

did you clean the sensor prior to the registration rollers? its hide under a metal part that tends to amass a lot of paper dust, causing the sensor going blind. give it a try

Just to let you all know that on stripping the whole feed and reg section down found major dev spill all in feed head 1 in all the bearings and gears.Have ordered new feed heads and dev unit as dev is coming out the back of the unit.

I'll bet you,ve dev on your gears or that reg sensor is filthy(especially if it has never been cleaned). It's under the dev unit. Slide out the dev, 2 screws 1 front 1 back (you'll need a stubbie) and lift the plat over to the left and you'll se a photo sensor covered in paper dust.
