    Ricoh MP 2510 light copies

    Hi all

Have a problem I've not seen on these before. Prints from PC are fine, SMC reports are fine, but when I copy they come out feint. Have cleaned all through the mirrors, cleaned the lamp and CCD's, but still the same issue! Any idea's, anyone have this before?

That's a bizarre one. Is that both from the DF and the glass?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Failing lamp is Blacker copies right? Maybe Lamp is overbright? Not sure the word I'm looking for.

Thanks for your replies, yes it is both off the glass and DF and I've cleaned the white plate & rebooted. Am starting to think it may be CCD array, probably just clutching at straws but am running out of ideas. Will PM the machine and start a fresh from there. Any other ideas though would be great..

Have just done a PM on the M/C and all is well. The PCU must of been on it's way out, but still seems strange that prints from the engine and such were OK, but copies from glass were not.. Strange.... Anyway, one to remember...
