Tray parameters are in user tools and cannot be changed via web interfce. You have to do this at the machine.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

Not true - log in as administrator then go to configuration, then device settings (paper)

In the webinterface(choose in the printer section) you have for for each tray 3 fields to specefy the tray parameters . Question is how dus it work and who can give me a list or a tool for using the parameters.

Those are for remapping paper tray calls. Let's say a client was using an HP printer and a legacy application where the paper is typically drawn from the paper drawer (source #1), and upgrades to a Ricoh. The customer soon realizes that the legacy application always causes the Ricoh to prompt for paper in the bypass and wants to know what to do about it. The tray parameters will let you 'reassign' a specific tray call to a new tray. So, you'd reassign the tray #1 call to tray#2 (which is actually the first drawer in the system) to correct the issue. Be aware that this will remap all tray calls and so may affect Windows printing. Hope that helps some.

You should be able to find a list a Ricoh PCL commands on TSC. I have used this quite successfully a number of times.

The first law states that energy is conserved: The change in the internal energy is equal to the amount added by heating minus the amount lost by doing work on the environment.

TSC is the Ricoh technical portal. If you do not have access to some sort of Ricoh web based tech support, maybe someone in your shop does. Or you could call tech support and they can help you with what code to put were. Since the document in question is a copyrighted Ricoh document, I cannot post it here.
