Jams at proof tray SR 790

i have MPC3500 and SR790 finisher. papers come out perfectly good through shift tray. But jam at proof tray, it just stop when paper coming out to the tray around 2 inches.
It tested good proof and shift trays when hooked with Aficio 3050.
Please help.

The SR 790 Finisher has been available for years and years and is compatible with many different Ricoh copiers. Be sure of the Firmware version installed (older versions of Firmware do not support the newer machines). I had exactly the same problem with a MP C2500 and a SR 790 Finisher installed; in my case I believe only 8 1/2 X 11 was an issue and not 8 1/2 X 14 or 11 X 17 (I ended up defaulting the copies to the Shift Tray).
