    Ricoh CL4000DN Color Registration Error

I have replaced all the PCU's (both color and black) as well as the Intermediate transfer unit. Still cannot get it to pass the Color Registration in the Maintenance Menu. Anyone have any ideas? I have read elsewhere about cleaning the ID sensors..where are those and how do I get to them? I've even tried manually adjusting the registration values in the tech menu by using the birth paper values ..still no luck.. Any ideas?

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and especially if you have any ideas or comments.

    Kindly,

    -Greg

Tech time I think, there's something a bit more serious going on here that a case of dirty ID sensors.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

It could just be your ID sensors that are dirty, I have attached a pdf showing where they are on the machine, worth trying to clean these before venturing any further. I have had this problem, changed the id sensors etc. but it still didn't go away and the prints were perfectly ok. The customer said they could live with it in the end as it doesn't stop the machine from working

Thank you both very much for reading my post and replying. Ricoh Tech came out..he messed around in the Tech menu while on hold with Ricoh Support office... He used SP2111-01 which resulted in "NG" then tried SP2111-002 which resulted in "OK"..Tried SP2111-01 again and it came back "OK". The SP's are associated with skew. The auto color registration now successfully completes. Also, I swapped out the ID sensors from another unit. So that may have had some effect. Dunno. Thank you gentlemen.
