    Ricoh 2045 print & scan functions disappeared

    i see the code sc990, and then i replace the HDD with 120Gb hdd.
    the SC is gone. but the 2 functions printer and scan is disappear to.

    why did this happen? and how to fix it?

      120GB may be too big for the machine and is confusing the controller. Try an 80GB.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          try to return the original HDD then recondition the pcu, replace consumable parts.
          fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.
